Which electrical fixtures can I use with SensorPlug?
• Lighting products: (Works with halogen, florescent, other types of bulbs)
o Table lamps - if halogen bulb is used with a built-in transformer, it may not work when the switch at top is in               the "L" position. It should work okay when the switch at top is in the "O" position.
      o Floor lamps
      o Party lights
      o Christmas tree lights
      o Lighted make-up mirrors
      o Night lights etc.
• Non-Lighting products:
o Multiple outlet power strips o Fans – table fan, floor fan
      o Table-top water fountains
o Radios, Cassettes and CD players, TV etc.
o Other devices such as a paper shredder or a weighing scale
o Halloween Props - Activate any prop to get motion based animation
o Almost any electrical product that that does not exceed the power rating and consumes energy while room is not occupied

How long does it stay ON?
• Once motion is detected, power is supplied to the SensorPlug’s outlet and a timer is started. Every time motion is detected, the timer resets to zero and starts a new cycle. This feature keeps the power ON as long as motion is detected
• If motion is not detected, the power to the SensorPlug’s outlet is turned OFF after 2 to 6 minutes depending upon the timer position set.

Why Does My Device Goes On and OFF (cycles On & Off) Even When No One Is In The Room?
  • Cycling of a plug-in device occurs if SensorPlug is near a heat source or if there is not enough load. Try at a different location. You may increase the load by adding a device such as a lamp or a single outlet Tripp-Lite surge protector such as a model Spikecube into the SensorPlug first and then plug in the device into the surge protector -  Model: SPIKECUBE. Visit www.tripplite.com to order one.
  • Do not plug-in a plug with light socket and then screw-in a light bulb. Light and heat from the bulb directly in front of the sensor can cause it to malfunction and/or cycling on and off.
Is there a way to change the sensitivity or the timer?
 • No. We have eliminated this feature to keep it simple for use.

What are the suggested locations?
